In my role as Graphic Design intern at 826DC, a creative writing-focused nonprofit, I worked with the Development team to develop promotional materials for fundraising efforts. At the same time, I worked with the Programming team to support with book creation for the young authors' (aged from 3-17) latest work.
Book & Brunch Club
The Book & Brunch Club was conceptualized as a new fundraising initiative for the spring season, focused on encouraging volunteers to hold brunch parties in their homes. I developed the visual identity for the fundraising initiative, while staying in line with the organizations color palette and themes (magic is a big deal at 826DC!).
Paddlestar Galactica V
Paddlestar Galactica, a ping pong tournament, celebrated its fifth year in 2017, which called for a celebratory tool kit and festive social media images. The toolkit was made for volunteers participating in the event, while images for social media were used to garner excitement for the tournament. Other collateral such as “cash” cheats were designed as well.
