active minds
As the first full-time Social Media Manager at Active Minds, a youth mental health advocacy nonprofit, I established our social media strategy, that allowed us to grow our audience by upwards of 30% across platforms. My work with Active Minds established long-lasting relationships with influencers and artists working in the mental health field (including our Keynote Speaker at the 2023 Mental Health Conference, Em Beihold). I developed campaigns that brought hundreds of thousands of visitors to our accounts, and produced content for multiple partners.
I developed this work while manager my Social Media Content Producer, Celia Zevon, and multiple interns over the course of several semesters. I'm also so grateful for the support of the countless students I've had the pleasure of working with over the years.

our Suicide Prevention Month campaign
primary platform: Instagram
My first major campaign as a Social Media Manager at Active Minds, I worked to develop video content that featured a variety of the organization's programming, while also featuring artwork from a variety of mental health creators, bringing 150k visitors to our Instagram profile, all with organic content.
We've repeated this campaign year over year to repeated success, even in its most recent iteration that doesn't feature artist artwork, but rather highlights a variety of recently prioritized calls-to-action.
top performing video content
primary platforms: Instagram + TikTok
A large part of my hiring was due to a need for dedicated video editing for posting across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, all which started to grow exponentially at the time of my hiring. I've loved conceptualizing, drafting, producing, and editing social video that is sometimes filmed by me, my associate, or various students from across our network. All of the videos below were developed or produced by me, often with the support of my team.
